Update Prints in Delhi buys Rotatek Brava 440 at Labelexpo Europe
New Delhi-based Update Prints bought Brava 440 rotary and semi-rotary combination printing press from Rotatek at Labelexpo Europe.

This will be the first Brava press in Asia with an in-line combination for silk screen and hot foil stamping alongwith the ability to do offest and flexo printing, embossing, cold foil stamping and lamination.
Update Prints is a supplier to reputed multinational companies like Bausch & Lomb, Revlon, Pepsi India, L'oreal, Lotus Herbals, Ozone Ayurvedics, Hero Motors, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, Tata Group, Modi Care, Atlas Cycles, Ayur Herbals and many more.
"The silk screen unit on Brava is ideal for printing on finest lines, solid areas and raised images up to 300 microns giving us the ability to print the finest design details," said Rajesh Chadha, director of Update Prints.
The machine was installed by Creed Engineers, exclusive dealer for Rotatek in India and offers speeds of 150mts/min in full rotary mode and 65mtrs/min in semi-rotary mode with a printing width of 420mm. It supports substrates like self adhesives, paper, structured paper, cardboard, PVC and polyester.
Neeraj Sharma, general manager for sales at Creed Engineers said: "Brava has turned out to be the successful machine for label and packaging industry. Being an offset intermediate press, Brava is a high-end technology for label printing industry. The machine produces high quality label with low cost inputs."
Update Prints caters to a wide range of industry services like pharmaceuticals, automotive, toiletries and cosmetics, bicycles, food processing units and electronic industries.
The company has recently introduced an online Process Management System (PMS) from BST Germany. This is first of its kind in India and provides features such as online colour monitoring, defect detection and barcode inspection.
