The five-colour loaded machine was supplied by Italy-based pre-owned machinery specialist World Graphic Machine, which is represented in India by Aura Print Solutions. The announcement was made at PrintExpo in Chennai.
The kit will tackle speciality cartons and value-added packaging jobs for top packaging-buyers such as Hindustan Unilever and other pharmaceutical players, said chairman and managing director of Dot, Ashit Amin.
According to Amin, his visit to Venice for the inspection after due diligence on technicalities of the machine by WGM was supplemented with WGM’s local support to clarify the deal.
The CD 74 joins a six-colour plus coater SM 102, a four-colour plus coater CD 102, a four-colour Solna 425 and a two-colour Solna 225 presses. The two-decade old Dot Graphics operates at an out-put efficiency of more than 1-lakh sheets per day, said Amin.
The company exports printing services to more than 35 countries within North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
