Valence launches Atex-certified eliminators
Valence Electrons announced the launch of explosion-proof Atex-certified static charge elimination bars, static charging systems, and online static charge monitoring systems for the flexible packaging converting industry.

KV Sanil Kumar, head – sales and service, said, “We are proud about being the first Indian manufacturing company to offer Atex-certified static charge eliminators. These are designed for neutralising electrostatic charges from fast-moving films, papers, and other non-conductive substrates in hazardous conditions.”
The Atex directive consists of two EU directives describing what equipment and work environment is allowed in an explosive atmosphere.
According to Kumar, Atex certifications for static eliminators will provide customers with a competitive edge through the direct impact it has on improved safety, output quality, waste reduction, and improved efficiency.
