“We have been a loyal user of Canon presses over the years and his new ImagePress V800 is the second Canon digital colour production system in our production setup, the first one being the Canon ImagePress C650. Packed with advanced features and capabilities, this compact digital press from Canon India is indeed a capable digital machine with remarkable speed and productivity,” Prasana K, proprietor of VAP Digital & Traders, said.

He added, “Earlier, we used to run a Canon and other multifunction (MFD) presses for taking care of digital printing. However, there were many hindrances and sloppiness in print quality and productivity then. But today, our digital printing is redefined and changed its game right after the installation of the ImagePress V800. We feel great with the press’ overall capabilities like speed and textures of print outputs it consistently delivers.”

He said with the new press, the company has scaled up its production volume. “After its installed a couple of months ago, this advanced and productive Canon digital colour production press has enabled us to produce around 20,000 to 25,000 sheets every month. Moreover, this compact digital press has boosted our productivity beyond our expectation.”

Capable to perform at the speed of 81 A4 images per minute, ImagePress V800 is compatible with varieties of thinner and heavier media ranging from 80-gsm inner book pages up to 350-gsm covers, envelopes, synthetic, and 1,300-mm-long sheets. It delivers graphic prints in 2400x2400-dpi, which is rated to be a leading resolution in the industry.

“My father, Kannan, started our company around 30 years back as a commercial offset printer. With a strong team of 35 people, we gradually expanded and forayed into digital printing to cater POD products like wedding cards, brochures, fliers, catalogues, photos, posters, etc, which we produce today uniquely using the new ImagePress V800. We look forward to adopting more such machines as our new unit is going to be unveiled soon in a different location,” Prasana concluded.
