The Ricoh Pro C7100x series promises increased reliability and productivity. It offers a 14,400K A4 sheets for five years, and a recommended document volume range of 30-140K A4 sheets (maximum 240K A4 sheets).

Prashant Aggarawal, owner of Varun B Corporation, said, “We already have a Ricoh printer, C9100. We found it to be a reliable machine with better colour quality. Our existing machine can print on a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi, but the recently installed machine prints on 1200x4800 dpi. The other advantage is that you can print up to 13x27.8-inches sheet size with some changes in hardware and software. Since we work for the saree market, we have to produce value addition work more and this fifth colour unit provides us the facility.”

Varun B Corporation also has an offset printing facility, which is well equipped with two Mitsubishi printing presses with a size of 20x28-inches, and one five-colour press equipped with UV. The finishing part of the facility is equipped with 10 manual punching machine, three auto die-cutters, five thermal lamination machines, three foiling machines and one offline UV coating machine. The pre-press work is outsourced.

“Now that we have two digital printing presses with us, we can use the recently installed machine for product and production enhancement. We have printed more than 3000 A4 sheets on the newly installed printer, since it is under trial,” said Aggarwal, a science graduate with more than a decade of experience.
