Vinsak brings laser technology for flexo and gravure

Launching the product, Ranesh Bajaj, managing director, Creed Engineers said, “The ability of the technology to engrave either continuous sleeves, flat plates or plate-on-sleeves gives the opportunity to utilise a single processor for production of printing form for flexible film, labels, sausage casings, folding cartons, beverage cans and aluminium tubes. Especially suited for flexible packaging, this technology gives the opportunity to flexo printers to optimise quality and pre-press cost.

This is based on laser technology from Netherland-based Lead Lasers, supplier for the flexo and gravure industry. It is a direct CTP Laser engraving system for engraving continuous elastomer or polymer sleeves and flexographic printing plates up to1,400mm print width.
