The new entity will now be known as Rotatek Printing and Packaging Technologies.

Vinsak is an Indian company specialising in manufacturing and marketing printing, packaging, and print-finishing equipment. The brand offers label-finishing machines, inkjet printers, and other products with offices in UAE, KSA, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Additionally, the company markets and services presses and equipment from renowned manufacturers such as Lombardi, ABG Graphics, Lake Image, Rietstack, Iwasaki, Schober, Busch, CMC, Petrel, and more across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Rotatek has recently developed the enhanced Universal 850 press, a new product tailored for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, and non-alcoholic beverages sectors. The press was unveiled at Drupa 2024 and is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2024. In addition, Rotatek is working on the renewed and improved Brava 450 for short-run jobs, which is set to debut at the Labelexpo Spain 2025.

Ranesh Bajaj, managing director at Vinsak said that Rotatek is focused solely on achieving two key milestones: doubling the annual number of installed machines and providing enhanced service to all existing customers.

He said, “Rotatek will continue to manufacture machines from its headquarters in Barcelona. The company has expanded its manufacturing capabilities by acquiring an additional 15,000 square feet of space for its facilities. To support this growth, Rotatek has hired new talent in engineering, sales, and service departments and aims to appoint agents worldwide while doubling the number of machines installed annually.”

Bajaj added, “Rotatek is aggressively expanding its global footprint, strengthening its partnership with Rotatek Brazil to penetrate the crucial Brazilian market. New agents and distribution agreements have been completed to ensure localized service across various countries.”

Since the acquisition, Rotatek has deployed machines to Smurfitkappa Security Systems in Ireland, Paramount Packaging in the UAE, and Hitech Print Systems in India. It has also commissioned machines in Nepal and China, totalling over Euro 15-million in value.

“The spotlight at Drupa was on Rotatek. We have received numerous inquiries. We have now arranged factory visits in India and Barcelona for those interested in seeing the machines after the event,” informed Bajaj.
