Vinsak becomes Indian representative of Iwasaki

Gurgaon-based Vinsak has inked a deal to represent Japanese manufacturer Iwasaki in India, and will offer a complete range of letterpress, offset and flexo label printing solutions for the markets in India, Middle East and a few parts of Africa.

Iwasaki International is the international marketing division of Iwasaki Tekko, a Japanese manufacturer of small and medium capacity label printing machines. The company also offers post-press machines operated in Japan, Europe, Southeast Asia and other countries.

“Iwasaki is the market leader in printing and finishing solutions for the production of short to medium-run labels, using conventional techniques of offset, letterpress and flexo equipment,” said Ranesh Bajaj, director, Vinsak. “Their capability and understanding of the intermittent feeding of substrates is unparalled in the industry and they have provided many innovative solutions to global leaders in the label printing market.”
 
According to Naoki Ogawa, export director, Iwasaki International, the company has been contemplating and changing its partners in the region a couple of times. “Now, we have found in Vinsak a reliable and long-term partner who can provide the right solutions and service to our customers in these regions,” he added.
 
The range consists of roll-to-roll label printing machines with maximum 330 mm web width. Applied technologies are wet / waterless offset, letterpress, hot-foil, laminating, backside printing, LED UV light, UV flexo varnishing, die-cutting / rotary die-cutting, and converting machines for digital solutions.
