Vinsak showcases slitter rewinder, roll lifter

The VRL 400 is a manual reel lifter which can carry reel with a maximum weight of 400 kg with width of 1000mm. Vinsak also had a live demonstration of its security software for anti-counterfeiting. Vinsak was the only Indian exhibitor who displayed the live machine at the show.

According to Ranesh Bajaj of Vinsak India, the company is looking to enter the market in this geography, especially countries like Thailand, Philippines, and Malaysia and nearby regions. “We are planning to open a subsidiary here soon. Either Thailand or Malaysia will be our business centre. The subsidiary should be operational by 2018 or beginning of 2019,” he said.

Bajaj added that as it is a global market, Vinsak is selling its machines along with Lombardi narrow web flexo printing presses. “More and more companies are going global and we have to work with them. Being a manufacturer and representative of multiple brands, we have to have our presence in these countries. For the next two years, Southeast Asia is target territory for us,” he said.

Since it was the first edition of the exhibition at Bangkok, Bajaj said he was happy with the footfall. “The logistics are very good and exhibition centre is excellent. In total, infrastructure in Thailand is quite friendly,” he said, adding, “Surprisingly many Indian customers visited the show. We had a good footfall with serious leads with people whom we have not met in the past.”
