Introduction of new Advantage eTR and eSA range: Earlier this year, TechNova, the Indian partner for Agfa, introduced the new-generation Advantage N Essentials range of violet CTP systems. The Advantage N Essentials series is a brand new series with advantage of low-cost with great results. Depending on the degree of automation that printers need, they can choose between the semi-automatic Advantage N-eSA or the fully automated Advantage N-eTR. The platesetters are equipped with features such as automatic loading plus on-line processing, 500 plates trolley, automatic slip-sheet removal, among others. The typical speed of the device is around 70 plates per hour of 576X700 mm size and with a resolution of 1200 dpi.

New VioGreen plate: The new VioGreen plate introduced by TechNova delivers almost 25% higher run-lengths, better sensitivity and UV ink compatibility as compared to its earlier version. The new plate is under beta testing and is expected to be available beginning 17 January 2017 to Indian newspapers. The key features of the new VioGreen plate include high robustness on the press; flexibility; high contrast after clean out and gumming; High scratch resistance; and Suited for high quality FM and Sublima screening, among others.

At the event, TechNova shared about the upgraded range of Arkitex Intellitune, a picture correction software designed to work on every platform: web, print and mobile, and the Arkitex OptiInk software for ink saving and enhancement of print quality.

The company also shared the success stories of Sublima screening and its advantages being experienced by its customers. Dainik Jagran, Hind Samachar and Prabhat Khabar have entirely moved their production on Sublima Screening.
