Wan-Ifra India 2017: Harland Simon to introduce press control console
For Harland Simon, the show forms part of the launch campaign for its latest P7000 press control console. However, Rob Watson, sales director, Harland Simon, said there will not be an actual console on display due to the clash in dates with Print ’17 in Chicago.

“At the show, we are targeting companies utilising single or double-width presses who are now facing obsolescence issues with various control and drive equipment on their presses as we are specialists in upgrading and retrofitting existing installations,” Watson said.
He said the company believes the Indian newspaper market is in a stronger position than many of the markets worldwide with investment likely to continue for some time. “This, therefore, should provide us some good opportunities,” he added.
This show is Harland Simon’s first venture into the Indian market for some years and the company hopes to start raising its profile and general market awareness. “The show is clearly the biggest and most significant event in the region and we believe it is the best platform to promote our company’s skills, capabilities and track record,” Watson concluded.
