Wanjie India all set to woo customers with experience-led approach
Wanjie India, a strategic joint venture between Ahmedabad-based Bipin Offset and Hebai Wanjie Machinery Technology Group, China, is all set to create a new benchmark in the label printing and flexible packaging industry with its innovative and customer-centric approach. The company is actively targeting markets across India, Africa, and the Middle East by offering a powerful blend of live demonstration, training, and after-sales service — all under one roof.

Rakesh Patel, director of Wanjie India, said, “We already have a demo-cum-printing centre within our Bipin Offset facility, where we are running Wanjie’s *intermittent offset” alongside a flatbed die-cutting machine and an offline inspection system. Customers are welcome to bring their samples and conduct live trials."
Explaining how he came to establish Wanjie India, Patel said, “After using Wanjie machines for over two years, we found them exceptionally well-suited for the Indian market — especially for businesses seeking a single platform to produce both flexible and rigid packaging. From labels to mono cartons to stand-up pouches, the possibilities are endless. The machine impressed us so much that we went from being a converter to becoming a seller.”
Wanjie India is now developing a standalone experience centre — a state-of-the-art space that will serve as a demo facility, training academy, and service hub for the industry. “This won’t just be a showroom,” said Patel. “It will be a complete journey — from printing to finishing to dispatch. Customers will be able to experience the full workflow.”
Meanwhile, Wanjie India has installed its first Wanjie machine at Haridwar-based Printwell. Printwell's Gurpreet Dilawari visited Wanjie’s facilities in China and Gujarat to evaluate the technology before making the decision. He said, “Wanjie machines offer reliable performance at a competitive cost, making them well-suited for the Indian market.”
Training to deliver results
The hands-on operator training programme is a key innovation in Wanjie India’s plan. Wanjie machines typically take around three months to manufacture and 30 days to ship. Wanjie India will invite the customer's operators for in-depth training during this period — ensuring they’re production-ready from day one of installation. “This approach will be a game-changer,” Patel explained. “It removes the usual lag between installation and output — a common challenge with imported machinery.”
He added, “Innovation doesn't happen in isolation — it needs space, tools, people, and vision. This experience centre is the physical embodiment of everything we’ve learned over two decades — and everything we want the Indian packaging industry to experience.”
The Wanjie Experience Centre will be equipped with a *intermittent printing press with inline die-cutting, cold foiling; flatbed and rotary die-cutting units; automatic inspection systems; high-speed slitting machines; demo-ready configurations for labels, mono cartons, and flexible packaging.
“We’re not chasing volume, we’re chasing value,” Patel said. “Short runs demand speed, precision, and adaptability, and that’s where Wanjie excels.”
He added, “This joint venture is more than a business alliance. It’s a promise of world-class Chinese engineering backed by robust Indian service infrastructure. “We’re strategically located in Ahmedabad, giving converters from India, Africa, and the Middle East easy access to live demos, training, and after-sales support.”
