Harveer Sahni, managing director, Weldon Celloplast said, “We are happy that we could convert three of the queries to orders at Labelexpo. The show has been very successful for us both in terms of showcasing new technology as well as earning business inquiries. Our Technology Bar concept was well received by the visitors and sometimes, we had a huge line of customer waiting to meet our various partners at the show who are on our stand.”
Unipack has booked an order for Rotocontrol RSP slitter and rewinder with in-line 100% inspection systems from Nikka. The machine is fully servo driven with a position accuracy of +-0.15 mm. This is the second machine that Rotocontrol is launching in India. The last machine too was launched during Labelexpo. “Since then, we have installed two machines in India, and around five months ago we have acquired a company called LeoMat Engineering. Post the acquisition, they have sold around four machines, taking the total number of Rotocontrol machines in India to six.” Zircon and Webtech are other two recent customers of Rotocontrol.
Sai Packaging has bought two Matho Cuttobag series of waste handling systems for its Faridabad and Bengaluru facility. Weldon Celloplast is the India distributor for Matho. The waste handling system is part of Sai Packaging’s mission to be a green company. The system is capable of extracting blister and self-adhesive matrix, die-cut materials, wastes from edge trim and in-mould waste. The machine sold to Sai has a local and bag-bounded collection system.
On the sale, Sahni added, “The machine offers uninterrupted production, less set-up times and increased cleanliness in the unit. The machine although can be used across segments, it is most appropriate for units that require high standards of certification to meet the demands and regulations in the food and pharmaceutical industry.”
