Pragati Offset collects its second PrintWeek India Award 2013 in the Brochure Printer of the Year category. The judges, looking for the most outstanding examples of colour brochures printed using the sheetfed printing process, were very impressed with the entries submitted by Pragati Offset due to the superlative quality of their finishing.

Pragati’s submission consisted of brochures for Glade One, Adroit Imperia, Ready. Set. Go., and 77 Sky. All of which are four-colour jobs, Adroit Imperia and 77 Sky were printed on a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000 while the other two print job were printed on a Komori Lithrone 640 press.

The Glade One brochure has velvet laminated outer hard case with highly intricate silver metal cut sticker which caught the judges’ eyes. Judges were also impressed with the precision with which the final product was achieved using different post-press processes. Adroit Imperia brochure was singled out for lot of praise because it is back-to back pasted to give it twice the thickness, the pages are matt laminated with spot UV and micro-embossing throughout. The judges acknowledged the difficulty in execution of the intricate job and were impressed by its flawless end product.
