Pragati Offset makes it two out of two in the PUR Book Maker of the Year Award category. Pragati Offset’s submissions of Asian Paints Aspira – Countless Harmony, Berger Silk, Ozz Fest and The Colour of Life 2013 were a cut above the competition and the quality of these entries were unmatched by any other entry according to the judges.

The judges were looking for consistency in quality along with durability, less wrinkling in the backbone and lay-flat quality.

Pragati scored big due to the level of difficulty and precision in execution. The Ozz Fest job consists of different sections, each with different page widths which makes sewing a laborious process. With PUR, a good binding strength and fast turnaround was possible. Asian Paints Aspira had some sections with embossing and some with debossing, due to which conventional sewing was ruled out. And as catalogues tend to be used more often, it is necessary to provide excellent binding strength, which is why PUR was used instead of hotmelt binding.
