Winning a PrintWeek India Award for the first time, Macromedia sent entries it produced for ITC’s Food Division, promotional standees and hangouts for EEGA/MAAKI, and Hindustan Unilever (HUL).

Macromedia produced a print output of 31.13 sq/ft for ITC Food Division’s billboard and 33.45 sq/ft for the HUL billboard. For EEGA/MAAKI, Macromedia produced 10x10ft cut-out; 120 nos of 3x6ft 3D standees, 120 nos of 3x3ft double-sided hanging cut-outs and 3x3ft single-side hanging cut-outs in English, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language for in multiplexes and theatres across India; and 75 nos 18x18inch one-way vision graphics for vehicles.

Macromedia used a range of wide-format machines from HP (including Vutek) and Esko Kongsberg for cutting purposes. The company used media from 3M, Avery, Star and Hanwa.

Wide-format specialists in India have helped the outdoor industry in India take a big stride deploying digital print and allied technology into campaign to better engage with customers.

These winning entries according to the judges are “campaigns built into cohesive projects capable of stimulating the target audience”.

Hyderbad-based wide-format specialist, Macromedia, has a pan-India presence with 10 production sites across India. Employing 350 persons, the company has a total deliverance capacity of more than 3.50 lakh sq/ft per day.

Macromedia also has a digital printing division, Octaprint, which is equipped with two Indigo 5000 series machines and is based out of Hyderabad and Chennai. It boasts of a marquee list of corporate customers in telecom and other industry segments.
