Winners announced for PrintWeek India Awards 2017
The Indian print and packaging industry’s brightest and biggest of 2017 were awarded Prisms at the St Regis in Mumbai, where Parksons Packaging walked away with the top prize for an unprecedented second consecutive year.

Around 300 guests attended the PrintWeek India Awards, which saw Rahul daCunha, managing director and creative head, daCunha Communications edify the audience with the story of how Amul advertisements have been iconic in telling a fun story about Modern India. In his crisp and succinct presentation daCunha showed how “more often than not, he and his team are able to get the pulse of the nation with humourous puns on current events from all walks of life.
This year, the Awards received more than 1,050 samples sent by 125 print firms across India, where Parksons Packaging Press scooped the coveted Company of the Year trophy.
In keeping with the PrintWeek India theme, there were also a number of first-time winners on the night, most notably Awards debutant Progressive Printing Press from Surat, as well as Antz Innovations, Kumar Labels and packaging powerhouse Huthamaki PPL.
The biggest winner on the night was Pragati Offset, taking home an unassailable three Awards from the categories it was shortlisted in. Meanwhile Silverpoint and Spectrum Scan bagged two Award Prisms apiece.
Marvel Graphic Studio (Ahmedabad) won the Fine Art Printer Award for the seventh consecutive year in a row. While Avantika (Delhi) and Divya Bhaskar newspaper (Ahmedabad) kept its winning streak in the Digital Printer Award and Newspaper Award category, respectively.
