Drupa also offered Xeikon the business opportunities in new emerging markets and new applications such as paper cups

With approximately 2000 registered visitors, the Xeikon booth was a focal point for live demonstrations of cutting-edge digital printing and embellishment solutions. The highlights of the exhibit included:

The Titon solution for wines and spirits labels, paper-based packaging, and security applications: In collaboration with Kurz, Scribos, Sappi, and Koehler Paper, the Titon solution demonstrated unique printing and embellishing capabilities, powered by the Xeikon X-800 workflow. This generated significant interest and multiple sales.

High-speed digital label printing with the new Xeikon LX3000 (The Lion): The market demand for robust digital printing equipment is increasing. Driven by shifting volumes from flexo to digital but also by the increasing need for automation and sustainable printing technologies. Several experienced customers, including ELC étiquettes (France), and Abbey Labels (UK), chose to invest in the LX3000 at Drupa, underscoring its reliability and performance.

The World Premiere of Xeikon PX3300HD: The debut of the high-speed, high-quality UV inkjet label printing solution, featuring the latest generation of the X-800 workflow functionality to support full variable data variability at 1200-dpi and 70-m/min PX3300HD. The new member of Xeikon’s Panther family garnered attention and praise, solidifying Xeikon's position as an innovator in the digital printing industry.

Beyond these three featured zones at the booth, Drupa also offered outstanding business opportunities in new emerging markets and new applications such as paper cups, showcasing Xeikon’s established product lines, including the Cheetah and Sirius families but also the IDERA solution for the corrugated printing markets.

"Xeikon stands out as a versatile provider of digital printing solutions, catering to every market application with the most suitable technology. In the past, there hasn’t been a better venue to showcase our innovations than at Drupa. While inkjet offers numerous benefits, toner technology remains the unrivalled solution for many packaging printing challenges. Visitors have shown great appreciation for our wide array of technological advancements and application innovations,” Rob Welford, president of Flint Group Digital, said.
He added, “But, eight years is a long time, so we didn't know what to expect. In the end, drupa turned out to reclaim the pole position in bringing the printing industry together on a global level. For Xeikon, this global function is vital to attract new customers. Running a drupa is like running a marathon; it takes strict preparation, clear goal setting, smart execution, and the result will be a lifetime memory and great business, of course.”
