Xeikon unveils CX500 dry toner press; makes PX3000, PX2000 UV inkjet presses commercially available
Continuing its focus on both inkjet as well as dry toner technologies, Xeikon unveiled new digital presses in both Cheetah and Panther series at Labelexpo.

The company introduced the high-end Xeikon PX3000 and announced an entry-level Xeikon PX2000, both to be made available in a four-colour and a five-colour configuration.
The Xeikon PX3000 has a web width of 330mm and the entry-level Xeikon PX2000 has a web width of 220mm, both running at print speed of up to 50 metres per minute.
Besides this, Xeikon announced the new Xeikon CX500 wide web digital label press in its Cheetah Series, which is the first press based on a new generation dry toner platform that the company said is ready for Industry 4.0.

The Xeikon CX500 is ideal for larger sized labels and labels requiring an opaque white or an extended colour gamut. It features web width of up to 520mm, full rotary printing technology and 30 metres per minute printing speed.
UK-based CS Labels has signed up for CX500 as a beta user.
