Balaji Rajagopalan, executive director, technology, channels and international business, Xerox India, said, “ConnectKey is a powerful platform - a combination of technology and software, embedded in the new i-Series MFPs that help enable true scenarios of cloud, mobility and security. The MFPs built on this platform will provide a critical advantage to enterprises as well as small and medium-sized businesses. It allows businesses to go beyond printing, scanning, faxing and copying, and gives channel partners the tools they need to capture new recurring revenue streams.”

The technology is not available for production printing presses.

The launch includes both colour as well as monochrome multifunction devices. Colour portfolio includes Xerox WorkCentre 7970i Color, WorkCentre 7830i/7835i/7845i/7855i Color, WorkCentre 7220i/7225i Color and WorkCentre 6655i Color multifunction printer.

In monochrome segment, the products are WorkCentre 5865i/5875i/5890i, WorkCentre 5945i/5955i and WorkCentre Multifunction Printer 3655i.

ConnectKey-enabled i-Series MFPs adapt to the way businesses work, allowing companies to meet today’s business trends, challenges and opportunities.

The new Xerox Easy Translation Service app helps partners and companies capitalise on the USD 38 billion market for language services and technology. The first-of-its-kind solution lets users scan a document through their MFPs, snap a photo from their phone or upload it to a web portal. The service can then securely and quickly translate business-critical information to more than 35 languages, giving businesses a competitive edge.

Xerox App Studio 3.0 allows channel partners to build and tailor MFPs using simple templates that modify and customise the user interface to synchronise to their business processes.
