The colour Xerox 7142 MFP can output up to 40sqm an hour on a maximum width of 1,080mm.
The manufacturer said it had created the model for jobs that required the high-resolution colour scanning and printing of construction plans, electrical wiring diagrams and maps.
Xerox’s new machine also features a ‘Sure Scan’ mode that allows users to view and alter scanner settings before the document is stored or printed.
According to a Xerox, the 7142 MFP enables architects, engineers and commercial printers to complete the straightforward colour production of technical documents. They may also be familiar with the user interface – found on Xerox’s mono devices.
The Xerox 7142 MFP is available for installation now while existing 7142 customers can undertake a field upgrade to the new model.
