YesGo announces Esko workshop in Mumbai
Chennai-based YesGo will be conducting its first Esko workshop in Mumbai for Esko advanced software training for premedia, pre-press and packaging courses. The week long workshop will be hosted from 16-21 September, 2019.

According to Nizamappas, the course will offer training in Esko’s Artioscad, Despack plus Plato, and Adobe Illustrator as well as Esko’s ArtiosCAD, Deskpack – Illustrator, Photoshop, Plato, Packedge, Artpro and Studio. The workshop training will be followed by Esko certification and on-the-spot placement.
Training at the workshop will be provided by Nizamappas, Prashanth Kamath and Mahesh Harohally Omkarmurthy of Esko. In addition there will be mentoring by seven veterans of the print and packaging industry: Manoj Mehta of Unique Flock; Nitin Patil of Numex Blocks; Vijay Babu of Parksons Packaging; JayPrakash of Vee Pee Art Studios; Arnab Maiti of Esko; Lalit Nair of Ansapack and Hemant Jain of SGSCO Asia Amet.
The company brochure said, there are innumerable benefits for the attendees. These included, an opportunity to upskill and upgrade plus grasp the intricacies of advanced pre-press, premedia and packaging skills in a short span of time. A Yesgo member said, one can recruit trained Esko operators and packaging operators plus re-skill the staff.
Nizamappas, a gold medallist in print technology, said, "Demand for Esko training and Esko trained operators has seen a surge in the past few years. YesGo has successfully fulfilled this very need of the industry by delivering Esko training as well as Esko trained operators and executives globally. Following the enquiries and demand from Mumbai since YesGo’s inception in June 2018, a decision was taken by the YesGo management to conduct a workshop in Mumbai.
Nizamappas added, "The training is meant not only for individual learners but also corporates who wants to train their employees in advanced Esko softwares to run their pre-press effectively. Learners have advantage to interact with industry veterans and get hired on the spot."
Speaking about the object of the Yesgo packaging pre-press training centre which was inaugurated in Chennai in 2018, Nizamappas said, “Trained pre-press operators and designers in high-end prepress and packaging software is one of the most prominent requisite today to make Indian printing and packaging industry at par with global standards. Several software solutions are available in the market but the industry is facing lack of skilled operators for the same as most of them don’t know where to learn them.”
