YesGo's career guidance seminar at IPT on 14 February
On 14 February, YesGo conducted a career guidance programme at the oldest and first printing institute in India – Institute of Printing Technology (IPT), Chennai. The session was conducted by 120 students from the second and third year along with the faculty of IPT. The one-day seminar was addressed by V Vaidyalingam of Suba Solutions, Fredrick John of Esko along with Nizamappas of YesGo.

Vaidyalingam spoke about choosing your career and not your job, while Fredrick John delivered a presentation about the latest technologies and current trends in pre-press and packaging. Nizamappas threw light on the importance of having mentor to show the right path and reach the right destination. He stressed on the need to have passion, dreams, desire and a focused approached to reach one's goal and achieve the right objective. The seminar was interactive and the students raised queries. The participants interacted with the industry experts on the opportunities, multiple roles and career paths available in the printing and packaging industry. They also got an opportunity to get insights about the latest industry trends.
At the seminar, four students of IPT were awarded the Best Students Award by Ex Principal of IPT, AV Balaraman and ex lecturers.
Nizamappas said, "Such programmes and seminar are required to spread awareness among the young aspirants of the industry about the current trends, and help them interact with the industry leaders, allow them to get a response to their queries about their career."
PrintWeek readers will recall that YesGo had conducted similar seminars at the Anna University in Chennai on 11 November 2018 and Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College in Sivakasi on 1 March 2019.
Founded in 2018 in Chennai, YesGo is a pre-press and packaging software training program along with placement assistance. Nizamappas said, "We are the only organisation which provides complete practical and customized training in advanced high-end pre-press and packaging software."
