"The managing director of Zircon, Sanjeev expressed great satisfaction with the first Rotocontrol RSC slitter / rewinder machine, specifically with the advanced missing label detection system which records events individually per lane," said Pawandeep Sahni of Weldon Celloplast who supplied the machine to Zircon.

After observing the machine perform and position the missing label at 300mts / min with consistency, and without comprising the slitting accuracy, Sanjeev stated: "Rotocontrol will be our finishing partner from now on."

Weldon Celloplast is the local agent for Rotocontrol in India.

With three focused business segments, Zircon's range of products include brand packaging labels, data-capturing through barcodes and RFID, and protecting documents and brands with innovative anti-counterfeiting solutions. Headquartered in New Delhi, Zircon also operates plants in Noida, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai.

Zircon’s shopfloor has four Mark Andy narrow-web presses. In December 2010, the company made an investment in EskoArtwork equipment which included a flexo pre-press and plate making workflow with an in-house pre-press software workflow and HD CDI Spark 4835 imager with inline UV.
