Zoom Digital Press invests in Canon

Ramakrishna Reddy of Zoom Digital Press said that post-installation, his customers are satisfied with the clarity and colour accuracy of prints produced on the ImagePress V1350. 

“The V1350 has almost perfect front-back registration to print visiting cards. We can also do quick personalisation of data with the latest EFI Fiery E9000 with the imposition feature. Colour print with ILS (Inline Spectroscopic Sensor) technology is built-in which eliminates the need for any additional colour calibration accessory. Print smoothness and quality on 500-gsm paper due to the new POD-SURF Fusing is really a distinguishing feature of the new press,” he explained.

Zoom Digital Press has been in digital printing business since 2012, in both commercial and photo album categories. 

Canon’s collaboration with Zoom started in 2014 with the installation of a Canon ImagePress C6011. In 2019, the company opted for an ImagePress C8000VP. 

Reddy said the company is content with the print quality, colour management, and processing speed of the ImagePress Series. He also highlighted the professional service support from team Canon.

“We have always preferred Canon because of the professional and prompt service support from the team,” he said.

The ImagePress V1350 showcases a printing speed of 135-ppp and standard EFI Hyper RIP (32GB and an Intel Xeon processor), establishing it as a powerhouse in terms of productivity. Additionally, it supports media up to 500-gsm, expanding the range of printing possibilities, making it a versatile solution for various applications. Equipped with a vacuum-feeding mechanism, flatter paper transport path, advanced Print on Demand-Surface Rapid Fusing (POD-SURF) unit and integrated cooling system, the ImagePress V1350 supports uninterrupted high-speed printing and allows PSPs to fulfil demanding print jobs with a short turnaround time for maximum productivity.
