Me & My: Canon C7010 VP

Describe your company?
Established in 1997, Maopera has met the requirements of most of its clients as education entities with communication solutions and in accordance with the change in market. To meet the quick print production demand, we had installed a Canon digital printing press. Now we have the capablity to deliver unique print jobs to our clients in Delhi/NCR.

What does the machine do?
We are using the printing press for personalised printed products with security features. We are producing ID cards, admit cards, grade cards, report cards, degrees and certificates, transcripts and other specialised jobs.

Why did you choose this particular machine?
We went to the existing users of the similar machine and got their feedback positive. Also, prior to the installation of the C7010VP, all our print jobs were produced on the same model. The results were up to our expectation.

Did you look at any other similar machine?
No. We did our homework before finalising the machine. So it was a pre-decided decision.

Why did you make the purchase?
Bouyed by the advise to adopt digital print solution by one of our existing customers, we decided to invest in the C7010VP. The market feedback about Canon also helped us to choose this production engine.

What features do you particularly like?
Frankly speaking, the price tag.
 
Is there anything you wish it had that it doesn’t?
Initially, I wished it had no click charges. Now it seems the best part of the deal.

How fast is it?
The machine is capable of handling quality production at the speed of 71 pages per minute.

How easy is it to use?
The C7010VP production engine is remarkably easy and user-friendly. Our personnel have been trained by Canon which was a big advantage and they are always a call away in case of an urgent requirement.
Has it won you any new work?
It has fetched us new business. Presently, we are focusing on creating innovative ideas (printing).

How much time or money has it saved?
It’s only four-month old. We have not worked out the costing module at this point, as yet, but we are sure that it will save time and money in some form or the other.

Would you say that it offers value for money?            
Undoubtedly, it is full value for money.

Were there any difficulties experienced during the installation or after?
Not really ... We have never come across such a sincere, professional logistics and service team.

What about the pre- and after-sales service?
Excellent. Our experience with Canon’s team is fantastic whether it is pre- or after-sales.

Who do you think the machine is right for?
The machine is good for those quality production short-run jobs in long working hours.

Under what circumstances would you invest in another?
Once our print production doubles ...
