What does the Fedrigoni paper do?
Fedrigoni series specialises in specialty papers for corporate communications. It gives the client a superior feel at the first touch. They have paper for all industry and types of end users. They maintain tasteful aesthetic standards and consistent quality.

Why did you choose this particular Fedrigoni paper?
This particular paper brought a similar feel to be reproduced for the end print job. So much so, it bagged us the Asian Print Award in specialty printing in Malaysia on 13 November 2009.
 
Did you look at any other similar paper?
Yes, we looked at popular brands of specialty textured paper like Conqueror, Cordenons, Neenah Papers, Gmund, Mohawk and Iris SG. However our client chose Fedrigoni’s series paper.
 
Why did you make the purchase?
Fedrigoni was first introduced to Kerala in the specialty papers division. Simultaneously we were pushed by the upswing in tourism and real estate. Most players preferred Fedrigoni. This gave us a start and we were able to penetrate other market segments.
 
What features you particularly like with Fedrigoni Paper?
Their consistency on the printing press.
 
Is there anything you dislike about Fedrigoni?
So far no.
 
How easy is it to use on a press?
Depends on the stock. Generally a little care has to be taken in order to reduce wastage.
 
How reliable is it?
It always delivers. With their stringent production and quality control which includes certifications like long life, ISO 9706, ECF, heavy metal absence etc – quality and reliability are achieved by default.
 
What’s the quality like?
It’s top notch quality. It is premium standard which we are taking about.
 
How easy is it to use?
A little care is required, initially. Then it is very easy to handle for all the departments.
 
How much time or money has it saved?
No time nor money savings. If you are using Fedrigoni you have to put in that extra effort to convert it. But the client has the satisfaction of producing work on recycled papers and get benefits out of it.
 
Has it won you any new work?
Yes, in fact new work as well as awards. The latest Asian print award job was a wedding card invitation which was converted on a Fedrigoni paper. The results were astounding.
 
Would you say that it offers value for money?
Yes, it’s value for money.
 
Were there any difficulties experienced during initial runs?
Yes, there were some difficulties during the start-up period. This was polished off within a couple of trial runs itself.
 
What about the pre- and after-sale service from the local dealer?
It’s excellent. The print job green signal from the client arrives late, and so the dealer has to be on his toes to deliver. So far everything’s delivered on time.
 
Who do you think Fedrigoni is fit for?
Creative agencies who want to bring the best out of their clients. Also MNC’s who are standardising on eco-friendly papers for their print promotion campaigns. In addition, the jewellery, tourism and hotel industry, real estate, wedding cards, wine labels prefer Fedrigoni paper.
 
Under what circumstances would you buy another set of Fedrigoni paper?
As soon as the next stock is approved by the client!
