Describe your company?
Established in 1987, Rajeev Group is a commercial, wide-format, digital printer, and a mini offset printer. Located in Tinsukia, Assam. It provides end-to-end solution from designing to delivery for multipurpose printing needs. These include, solutions for visiting cards, letterheads, bookmarks, flyers, envelops, tags, presentation folders, post cards, table tents, note pads, books, brochures, booklets, annual reports, magazine and souvenir, product catalogs, menus, telephone directories, calendars, posters, real estate plans, invitation and greeting cards.

What does the machine do?
Ricoh 8100 produces mono print at a speed of 135 copies per minute at a resolution of 1200x4800 dpi. It prints on most of our required media of a size of 13x19.2-inch. The kit comes with the latest VCSEL technology and new toner formulation ensure supreme image quality for consistently professional results.

Why did you choose this particular system?
We found it to be the best printing solution for our requirement for mono print production.              

Did you look at other similar systems?
Yes. It is a major investment and we did look into other options. However, we found it to be the best among the machines we checked.

Why did you make the purchase?
There were three reasons for us to make the purchase. First, Ricoh’s services and approach, second, sheet size (13x19.2-inch) and third, 1200x4800 dpi print quality at a speed of 135 sheets per minute.

What features do you particularly like?
We like the entire production engine. Precisely easy-to-use controls and advanced print technology are two important features.

Is there anything you wish it had that it doesn’t?
Not exactly. It has most of the features we require and is the most suitable machine for our need.      

How fast is it?
Technically, it produces 135 ppm, and meets our demand. Thus, it is fast enough for our requirement.

What’s the quality like?
At a resolution of 1200x4800 dpi, we found that the print quality of this machine is better than other machines in the market.

How reliable is it?
It is 100% reliable for our production.

How easy is it to use?
It is easy to use. Any of our operators can use it.

How much time or money has it saved?
At a speed on 135 ppm, it definitely saves our time, and hence, money.

Would you say that it offers value for money?
Yes. It offers value for money.

Were there any difficulties during the installation or after?
No, not at all. Ricoh has supported us at each and every step of installing the machine. Qualified and experienced engineers from the company made the entire operation very easy. And we did not pay anything extra for installation.

What about the pre- and after-sales service?
It was a smooth process all along and has been.

Who do you think the system is right for?
The system is right for all mono print production requirements of sizes 12x18-inch and 13x19-inch.

Under what circumstances would you buy another?
Our next purchase will take place soon. The next order will be equipped with white ink printing capability.
