STM-5000-F hot foil stamping machine

Launched in 2000, Technoshell Automation’s STM-5000-F is a versatile hot foil stamping and embossing machine.

This machine is specially designed for stamping and embossing on flat surfaces of paper articles like greeting card, wedding card, diary cover, book cover, corporate brochures and die-cut stickers. Apart from this, stamping and embossing on leather articles like jeans tags, belts, wallets, purses, shoe soles and flat plastic articles is possible.

With an installation base of more than 85 machines in India, this 20 year young, energetic and experienced company after having strong impact in India, is now eyeing the overseas market.

Technoshell Automation which was founded in 1990, has a manufacturing facility in Ambad near Nashik and has technical collaboration with Madag Printing System from Switzerland and R E Bowers & Freeman from UK.

This includes installations at Anand Diaries, Arora Diaries, Lynx Designers, Bright Brothers, India Accessories, Lumax Industries, Minda Industries, Southern Packaging, Tilak Gold Printers, Print-O-Tech India, Ellora Time and Geeta Press.

Hydraulic operation
Paper requires greater pressure to get stamped. STM-5000-F is a hydraulically operated machine which works on the up-down principle of stamping.

It can generate a force of 5000kg, which is very suitable for stamping on paper articles. You can get uniform stamping over 12x14 inch on the paper sheet of 18x23 inch, thanks to the toggle mechanism.

Main strength of STM-5000-F is the quality. This machine is strong, robust and is user friendly. All the necessary settings like temperature and stamping time are digital and to keep close control on these parameters, the PLC is used.

Additional features
The machine has additional features like digital setting for stamping which ensures precise stamping parameters. The PLC from B&R has automation, which is good for precise control over stamping parameters.

The up-down movement of the stamping plate is guided by two precision ground dove tail guides. This allows excellent positional repeatability. The machine has a built-in counter to count number of strokes and the count can be seen on the display panel.

Easy leveling of the work table ensures uniform stamping force across complete stamping area. The STM-5000-F has a dual start button operation for operator’s safety. This machine has jumping foil feed systems which avoids wastage of the foil.
