Improve your ROI with the right pre press technology

 

The webinar which was attended by more than 120 participants saw Vidhu Gautam of Kodak, K Shyamsunder of Digiflex and Sahil Rao of Akruti.

 

Vidhu Gautam's presentation was divided into two parts, flexography pre-press and thermal CTP plates. The first part was about how the Flexcel NX ensured production efficiency and increased pre-press productivity, along with flexo plates that last longer plus ensure consistent, predictable print and reduced ink and substrate waste.

 

The second presentation of the webinar was by K Shyamsunder, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in pre-press. He owns and heads the operations at Hyderabad-based Digiflex which caters to the flexo printers in and around Hyderabad and across India.

 

The adoption of Kodak’s process-free plates by Akruti stemmed from both economic and environmental benefits. At that time, the father and son duo of Girish Rao and Sahil Rao had said to PrintWeek India that the "plates eliminate the processing step required by traditional thermal CTP plates and provide significant energy, water, and waste reductions without requiring printers to make sacrifices on productivity or print capabilities."
