Pack Universe set to expand its operations to Canada
Pack Universe International, the offshoot of Indore-based commercial packaging specialist Manmohan Singh Marketing India (MMIPL) is set to open its first international facility in Ontario, Canada. The company will be investing close to USD 6 million for the first phase of this facility’s construction.

The company said that the reason for selecting the province of Ontario was its culturally diverse eco-system and supportive corporate environment. Vic Fedeli, Ontario minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade spoke about the new facility during a virtual trade mission to India.
He said, “Ontario is a prime destination for international investment and we are thrilled Pack Universe has chosen the province as the location for its first global facility. Ontario is home to a unique manufacturing ecosystem with a highly skilled workforce and competitive business costs. Strategic investments like this highlight the importance of the Ontario-India partnership to strengthen our respective economies.”
According to Pack Universe, the new facility will provide integrated export and domestic packaging solutions to help Ontario's manufacturing industry to increase its global competitiveness and create over 40 jobs over the next two years and. It will also aim to boost the company’s R&D capabilities for eco-friendly packages.
The Indore-based packaging firm specialises in consulting, designing, executing and delivering packages for a range of industry segments such as heavy-duty, FMCG, automobile, confectionery and pharmaceuticals among others. Also, the company claims that its secondary and tertiary portfolio items are reinforced with smart technologies such as ultra-high-frequency RFID provisions with an integrated enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management tool for seamless tracking and delivery experience to the customer. The company also specialises in packing and logistic solutions.
